I live in an old Victorian property with a slate roof. I had a long standing problem with a leak and I have employed several Roofing Companies to try to solve this without success. South Manchester Builders came out and their man immediately identified the problem. I was given a detailed written quotation which outlined the source of the problem and what they were going to do to put it right. They came out, did the work quickly and left the place clean and tidy afterwards One year on my roof is still watertight! Thank you South Manchester Builders your hard work is much appreciated.

Favourite pint in knutsford. Not as flash as other bars in knutsford but my favourite

had some good repairs done here but the staff are just rude, especially the manager, he always acts as though you're an inconvenience and he can't be arsed with the customers.

Had an amazing experience with Autopoint - I had been quoted over £600 when my MOT was due by a national garage chain, but on a recommendation from a neighbour I took it to Autopoint and got a great service. Chris was lovely and did my MOT quickly and efficiently, and was honest about the work that was needed on my car (which turned out to be nothing!) It’s hard to know who to trust when you don’t know much about cars, but I would wholeheartedly recommend Chris and the team at Autopoint to anyone :)

Even though we can not afford Trevors prices, he was the first honest person we have spoken to in a long time. For this reason alone l would recommend him to restore your baby.

We went here for a pre-booked test-drive. Apart from the obvious draw - that it's a Tesla showroom - the colleagues were welcoming (literally waited to greet us at the door) and very helpful and knowledgeable. We didn't feel rushed or pushed to make a decision. We were given plenty of time to drive the car, with a knowledgeable demonstrator.

Superb front of house staff. Delivery of the vehicle, the unveil with our personalised welcome made the whole event special. An issue, 2 weeks later, with the vehicle ( out of their control) was dealt with professionally and sympathetically. A team being Extraordinary.

I called in at Bentley Manchester on the off chance to have a test drive with a used 2015 Continental GTC V8s and was informed all the sales team are with other clients, I understand that I didn't make any prior arrangements but I called in on the off chance. Eventually after my wait I managed to have a chat with Shaun and he didn’t seem very interested as I’m guessing he didn’t think I was a serious buyer and safe to say with his lack of awareness my business will now be going elsewhere! I do in fact have to mention a lovely young man called Dwayne from the service department seen me looking at a 4x4 Bentley and we had a lovely long chat about the brand and save to say his product knowledge is second to none! I personally think there should be a role reversal as I would of thought he was the salesman not Shaun!!

Guys here we're very helpful in answering a few questions about my Civic. Topped up my air con and offered to just charge me £20 for the privilege. I decided to take the canister and a hose so I can do it myself in the future - they showed me how - £70 all in. Really reasonable and didn't try to charge me for any extras or anything I didn't need

Called into Autoden a couple of times and got advice on the most cost effective way to carry 4 mountain bikes on my car. Honest, genuine, excellent service from the guys. They took the time to fit and demonstrate the Thule Bars and Bike Rack. World Class Service from the guys. Thanks again for all your help.

Small place, a bit pricy

After deciding that my website needed a big refresh, and wanting to offer online payments for my equestrian events at the Modern Horse, I contacted 3 website design companies and interviewed two of them, one of which was Knutsford Web Design. I was very impressed at the ‘pre-meeting’ info that Chris wanted from me, and when he arrived at our meeting he was streets ahead of any of the other companies I’d spoken to regarding my business. He really ‘got’ what I was wanting to do, in a way that is quite unusual with Web Designers, who normally seem only concerned with the look of the website rather than the functionality. Chris was also very open to the fact that I was keen to author my own website once it had been set up, so as to be able to update and add information whenever I needed to rather than being dependent upon a third party. The Modern Horse website was up and running in two weeks – partly because I had most of the content already available from my old website, but mostly because Chris was just so quick to get on with the job, coming up with all sorts of great suggestions as we went along. He’s been endlessly patient with my bumblings and headaches as I try to get to grips with running my own site, and it is very comforting to know that if I get really stuck, he’s at the end of an email or a telephone line to come and rescue me – money well spent as far as I’m concerned. What’s more, I have exactly the website that I wanted and can measure the growth in my business from the date that it went live.

Researched and drew up a new webpage plan. It’s all beyond me but they were very patient and explained every detail. Highly recommended.

We visited as I wanted to show my new OvenGleamers oven cleaning man in the Knutsford area the full range of AGA cookers. They had quite a lot of different cookers on display in a large open showroom and we able to get a good look at them.

We have used Station Garage for a good few years and their service is second to none. John and his guys provide a great friendly service and at a very competitive price. Highly recommended. Just had a service and MOT done on our Audi - done on time with no hidden extras - and at a great price Needed a yearly service and John fitted me in. Once again, great service and price - if your in the Knutsford area and need your car sorting look no further than Station Garage Mot time again - passed and had the car back on time as usual

Really good company. I wanted a security system that I can monitor and control on my iPad. What they installed is really amazing. I can completely monitor and view my home whenever it detects movement, and get pop up notifications. I tried a few quotes elsewhere, but this was the best price. Recommend.

Initial feedback: Plenty of good roles on offer, but let down badly because their consultants NEVER return phone calls or give feedback on jobs in which you have an interest. Consequently you are left guessing at where you stand, and the overall experience of (not really) dealing with KDR Recruitment is very frustrating. Recommendation: Deal with your potential candidates in a professional manner and they will start to rate you more highly than two stars. Updated feedback: The head of department has followed up on my initially luke-warm feedback and corrected the non-communication issues. I am satisfied that they were not systemic problems, there were a few administrative 'crossed-wires' which have now been addressed. This marks them out as an organisation that listens to its feedback and then takes action to improve things, which stands KDR recruitment ahead of most other agencies. Well done.

Currently renting a property from Mellor Braggins and honestly I would recommend them to everyone. Very professional and really helpful. Fees are the usual estate agent fees but it's worth paying to be with a brilliant company :)

They have a very large selection of plants indoor and outdoor, trees, herbs,&veg& always plenty of staff to ask questions about the type of plants you want to purchase they have good knowledge &will always give you good advice, good Cafe clean toilets & plenty of car parking spaces 👍

Did you know spiders live for anything from a few months to 15 years depending on their species. Great bit of knowledge shared. They do great haircuts too, always helps seeing as they’re a barber shop. Great place.

Louise took the most beautiful natural shots of my birthday party with friends and family. She managed to perfectly capture the joy, the laughter and the atmosphere of the occasion without anyone feeling there was photographer amongst us. The photos are a wonderful reminder of my special day and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Louise for any occasion.

Simply plumbing were simply excellent. They responded inside 24hrs (working week) to a relatively small job and completed it the same day. Can't ask for more!

Mat and the team show clear innovation and creativity every time I go through a new project with them and no job is too big or too small. They are savvy, fresh and modern with their ideas and suggestions. Great food the only problem is the delivery guy is miserable, doesn't say thank you even when tipped, they get the wrong address every time we order which means the food is cold and next time it happens I want a full refund which they should offer anyway.

Absolutely gorgeous Chinese take away best one I’ve ever had. Reccomend the Salt and pepper ribs- were full of meat and flavour. Ok chicken was just how I wanted it. Chicken and sweet corn soup best I’ve ever had honestly so happy and content now. Thanks! Worth every penny.

We called and booked in advance for a 16 seater mini bus to take a group of us from Colshaw Hall to a local Hotel. David was great and arrived slightly ahead of the agreed time, bus was clean and tidy and the journey home was straight forward. Thanks Sarah.

we love the Ark Veterinary Centre. Their level of expertise and care and attention is extremely reassuring. They go out of their way to make you feel that your pet is in the safest hands possible. we highly recommend them to anyone.

I can’t thank vet Marcus and the team enough for what they did for our lovely border collie Meg. She had a sarcoma on one of her back legs and due to the vigilance of Marcus she was operated on was given fantastic aftercare by all nurses and vets including Paul and Elizabeth. Happily Meg has made a wonderful recovery and she’s able to continue with her walks. Thank you once again and I can’t recommend this veterinary surgery and its team enough!
