I have been a parent of Princess Street Pre School for nearly 5 years now, with two sons both attending, and I cannot rate them highly enough. The pre school is extremely friendly and welcoming and immediately made both my sons feel very comfortable. My eldest son was extremely shy and quiet and they worked wonders on his confidence, making the transition to reception year at school much easier. My youngest son has a potentially serious medical condition, and I have been impressed with the care taken by the staff to ensure his safety, whilst making sure that he is able to take part in activities in just the same way as the other children. By going to Princess Street both my children and myself have made a lot of new friends and become part of a lovely local community.

This nursery is amazing. My daughter has been going here full time for 5 months now and in all that time she has never once cried when I've dropped her off or picked her up. The nursery staff are wonderful. They look after my daughter so so well and it really feels like they genuinely care for all of the kids. Lynn the chef is amazing too. My daughter is on a bit of a difficult diet and they accommodate her without ever grumbling about inconvenience. I have so much love for all of the staff at the mere and particularly my daughter's key worker, who is a total superstar!
The flight flew from RAF Brize Norton on 24th April 2024 with 500 cuddly giraffes on board to raise money and awareness for Great Ormond Street Hospital in memory of Louise Conway who died at just nine years old of leukaemia in 2013. Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate donated 50% of the production costs on behalf of the junior school, Chapter House, and our Forces community across campus - which is about 25% of our total student population.

Studio - amazing. Rest of the school - going downhill rapidly. As a parent, I am disappointed with the new headteacher and in my opinion a lot of good work and discipline that the previous head put in has been unravelled very quickly. In my experience, many parents are unhappy.
My son attends this school (Year 10) and his experience over the past few years has been generally good. The language departments seem to be excellent and I also have to say i'm impressed with the Mathematics, History & Geography departments. However, alike to the previous reviewer, I have had some issues with the English, Science & Art departments. The issues we have had are: * Teachers turning up 10/ 15 minutes late. Then complaining that children should arrive on time. * Teachers selecting certain students to focus on. * Tecahers being unprofessional with criticism and almost 'picking' on certain children. * Not teaching- getting children to copy out the whole syllabus from a text book. I have come to conclude that the only reason the school is getting a high pass rate of A*-C's is because 90% of the children in my sons class have after school Tutors! Overall, good departments & Bad departments making it unreliable. Hope this school improves to how it was a few years back*
