Warmest and friendliest of welcomes. The perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. The attention to detail stands out from the rest and the restaurant for dinner was beautiful. A very relaxing time and will definitely return. My only comment for improvement would be to fix window in room 4 so that you could close it properly as a little noisy from main Street if you wish to sleep before midnight. Other than that perfect .
We had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. I had the sea bass served with salad, new potatoes, chorizo and prawns. The food was absolutely delicious and I'd definitely like to eat here again. The pub is dog friendly and there is a nice outdoor eating earlier that has plenty of dog water bowls out for four-legged friends to enjoy. Unfortunately the garden area is up a few stairs so the higher areas may not be wheelchair friendly but the lower seating area may be accessible.

Perfectly fine pub restaurant that we visited as part of a rail ale trail. Friendly staff, good beer selection, nice modern decor.
Nice and large clean rooms. Close to everything. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely love it here Staff are fantastic. Nothing is to much They had a guy singing this afternoon .. He was so good. Was going home after one...but stayed to listen.lovrly lovely afternoon
This place has a really old fashioned welcoming feel when you walk in the door. Unfortunately it takes itself far to seriously. Maybe Knutsford does this to places. Service was coldly efficient. Smile and welcome would have been nice. Food was okay but a fish pie should be more than peas and salmon in a pie!

Nice to see a traditional pub in amounst so many so called trendy bars in Knutsford even if it does look a little tired. Sad to see fading pictures in a corner of regulars long since passed on. Sobering thought! I hope it still has the quiz nights.
A well run historic local pub with friendly staff, most sport is shown here on a few different tvs. There is a pool table and two darts boards. The quiz on a Tuesday and live music on a Saturday are worth a visit too as great fun. When the weather is nice there is a quiet garden out the back that is great for a summer pint.

Had a delicious afternoon tea here on Sunday, with my friend Vicky, who bought it for me as a birthday gift. Very pleasant pub, tastefully decorated. The sandwiches, cakes and tea were exceptional ( I think all home-made) and we stayed for about two hours, with top-ups of tea, but could have stayed longer if we'd wanted. The proprietors, Sam and his wife, who makes the teas, were very hospitable and we really felt welcome. Will definitely book again in future. Thank you.
I went to this venue with my other half for our anniversary for Afternoon Tea. Firstly - don't read any reviews for this place. Just book and go. The atmosphere is complemented by the highly attentive and friendly staff. The food was top notch and at such a decent price. I cannot go on enough about how happy I am to have found and experienced this place, nor can I wait to visit again.

A family run business offering home from home accommodation. Very comfortable apartments which are serviced to a high standard. Very close to knutsford town centre and beautiful Tatton Park within walking distance. Highly recommended.
Everything was fine except two fings: 1 lock in the door of my room was broken. So i was unable to separete from my co worker. Second thing, there was no way to controll heater in bathroom what caused that there was extremly hot. Othere thing, cup for tea was really small :(

Wonderful hosts. Very welcoming. Even gave us a lift to the pub so we could arrive in time to order food. We were in the family room which is very large with a huge double bed all recently done up. Great cooked breakfast Would highly recommend it as a place to stay
Wonderful place to stay. The hosts were extremely welcoming. The room was great. Well clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing. Full English with toast. Also cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, tea or coffee are available. Highly recommended.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
